Functions of the cell

• To plan, conduct. All sports in the college including competitions.
• Train students for inter college and inter university, state and national level competitions.
• Monitor and maintain the discipline in student players.
• For up keep of all the related activities without effecting the class / lab work, examinations schedules.
• To give system of development of sports and extracurricular activities.
• To plan for all the infrastructural facilities required as per norms through professor in-charge resources.
• To organize regular sports events in order to train students for various competitions.
• To arrange for better coaching facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities Concerned Faculty (Member):-

a) To create zeal among students towards sports to organize training coaching and education in sports for everybody so that they can learn to keep themselves physically fit.

b) The committee shall promote sports activities by motivating students.

c) Promoting team spirit by making healthy competition.

d) Proper maintenance of sports accessories.

e) To provide necessary infrastructure for sports.

f) To prepare and maintain records of all sports activities.

Student (Member):-

a) To inform all the students about the events.

b) To arrange the venue.

c) To display on the notice board about all competitions.

Chairman:- a) To ensure sports committee functions properly. b) To provide support and supervision to the committee members. c) Responsible for successful and smooth conduct of sports events.
